I was expecting this tea to be fruitier and more citrusy than it was, but I was pleasantly surprised. Both the bergamot and citrus presence are balanced, and you really notice the underlying black tea. The aromas blend very well. I suspect that this may be due to the fact that this blend uses actual citrus peel rather than an extract or flavoring--which is what I prefer.
Medium in strength. The underlying base tea (an Assam) is rich and full-bodied but not overly tannic.
Very reasonable price. I tend to prefer straight Earl Greys to flavored ones, and this is the first flavored Earl Grey that I've had that I can genuinely say I like. I am impressed.
