Review of Red Rooibos Tea suffused with Hoodia Gordonii & Buchu Agathosma Betulina

Based on what I know of these two herbs, I would not like to consume this tea on a regular basis, but it was interesting to try. Thanks to Marlena for providing this one.
The aroma was rather strong and has many different components. Even though the blend is mostly Rooibos, the other herbs lend a very strong aroma. There are fresh, earthy tones that remind me of eleuthero, and a strong minty aroma that reminds me of pennyroyal. I can't tell if it's the rooibos or one or both of the other herbs, but there's a strong fruity aroma, almost resembling strawberries -- but distinct from other strawberry-like aromas I've noticed in rooibos before.
Flavor is moderate and typical for an herbal blend: not sharply bitter, but a little muted bitterness and astringency, a little sourness. Fairly balanced. Full-bodied.
This is supposedly an appetite suppressant; I have no idea if it works for this purpose, I drank it when I was already feeling full and noticed no effect.
I do like the way this blend tastes very much. However, I would stay away from it for regular consumption unless you have a compelling medical reason to consume such a blend.
And my last note? Really, really pricey. Tasty, but if it were just for flavor, I'd definitely pass.
