This tea came in a 3-blend variety box, with sealed paper wrappers segregated into 3 plastic bags by flavor. Each blend (along with Mango Peach and Passionfruit Orange) also is sold in a 20-bag box unto itself, and purports to imbue the intrepid tea chugger with the spirit of the islands. Since I was there to photograph a loudly fountaining volcanic eruption, the tea fortunately did not impart the Pele vibe and induce similar effects in me.
I like all tropical fruits, so with no predisposed preference, and like a deck of cards, I sorted and shuffled the blends' wrappers, dropped them back into the box and plucked this one out first, sight unseen. Pineapple Strawberry and each of the others is contained in a standard-sized wrapper, but the flat, rectangular, tagless teabags are disappointingly small: about 2/3 each horizontal dimension of standard-sized herbal teabags such as Celestial Seasonings, with about 1/2 the content. Pineapple Strawberry does hit above its weight some, despite being a flavored white/green blend, but still is better suited for dainty teacups. Moderate to larger mugs should use two bags, which drags on the value score on an already rather expensive product.
Quality-wise, the blend is excellent! It just should be more and stronger. The aroma and flavor each are really nice, else this would have a poor score due to the manufacturer's clearly skimping on quantity. Pineapple is a potent, dominant flavor with intense sweetness and bitter tendencies, so clearly Hawaiian Natural took care to make sure it was well-balanced with the strawberry. As you might expect from a green/white base-tea mix under duress of punchy fruit flavors, the teas themselves took a back seat, but at times I could pick out the green tea a little, which seemed to be of decent quality.
I don't recommend this tea if traveling on a budget, but since most people don't do so to a costly place like Hawaii anyway, it might be a worthwhile addition to the souvenir section of your suitcase, as tea often is due to its light weight. The online base price from Teachest ($4 for a 20-ct box as of this writing) would be a solid bargain if not for the lack of quantity in each bag.
