This blend includes chamomile, passionflower, lavender flower, as well as catnip, rosemary, peppermint, spearmint, and stevia leaves. That sounds like it should be a pleasant mix to quaff, and indeed it is.
Cup of Calm lacks the disjointed, mulch-like taste of many large-list herbals and medicinals, instead coming across in both aroma and flavor as a predominantly chamomile-mint blend. Maybe, by power of suggestion, I can detect the rosemary and lavender at times too. It could stand to be somewhat stronger, but I probably should steep the bags longer (5-8 minutes isn't quite enough, apparently). Still, it's one of the friendlier large-list herbals out there, and one I can recommend for drinking experience regardless of any claimed health benefits.
The only real drag on the rating here is value, since Traditional Medicinals now is selling similarly sized boxes containing only 16 teabags for almost twice what I paid for boxes of 20 not many years ago. Price inflation plus quantity shrinkflation is an additive property unsuitable to optimal consumer satisfaction, unless the product is of mind-blowing excellence...and it ain't quite that.
