↑About Obubu Tea
Obubu Tea is a brand of tea owned by Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms, LLC, a Japanese tea company based in Wazuka, Kyoto, and founded by Akihiro Kita. Obubu is farmer- and staff-owned, and sells tea grown in their own gardens in Wazuka.
Obubu Tea offers a level of variety in Japanese teas that is hard to find in the U.S., such as selling hojicha with variable levels of roasting, and selling senchas with different harvest dates.
