When I first smelled the tea bag I got a whiff of spicy dust that inclined me to think this would be a pretty pungent cup. In truth, it was one of the more muted ginger teas I've had. This tea is quite nice and has a soothing aroma. It's hard to place whether the scent is vanilla or chamomile, but it's distinctly "one note". To be fair, I've had these tea bags for quite a long time, so perhaps it has gone stale or lost some of its oomf.
