I'll start by saying I'm new to white teas, so I do not know exactly what a typical white tastes like. But the large leaves have a beautiful honey aroma that also came through after steeping. A disappointment, especially compared to Rishi's other offerings. The brewed tea is amber in color. The aroma is bold and peppery without being sharp; it almost suggests celery, but without the fresh vegetal notes most white teas have.
