Sign in Tea Plantation in Yingde: Small Light Yellow Leaves

Sign in tea plantation reading: small light yellow leaves, also with Chinese characters, building in backgroundView Full Resolution

This sign reads "Small light yellow leaves", but this translation may be a bit misleading as the character for "yellow" refers to the cultivar type, not the color of the leaves. The characters on the sign are 小叶黄棪. According to Lew Perin's babelcarp, "黄棪" or Huángyǎn, which literally means "yellow tree", is a cultivar of oolong developed in the 80's, and widely grown in Guangdong.
