Sign Reading 单枞 (Dancong), Single Clump, in Tea Plantation, Guangdong
This photo shows a sign that reads 单枞 (Dāncōng), and "singleclump". Dancong or single-trunk oolong is a type of oolong widely grown in Guangdong province, named for its growth habit. Different varieties of dancong have been cultivated, some over hundreds of years, to produce tea with aromas resembling the natural fragrances of various fruits and flowers.
