This is a fully-intact, whole leaf black tea with ample golden tips. It has a twisted, wiry appearance with leaves of fairly uniform width, but heterogeneous color, ranging from all black to golden orange.
I personally think this photo makes this tea look a bit more appealing than Adagio's photo, which makes the leaf look lighter in color. I'm a fan of darker black teas myself.
