I drank this tea mainly to see how it tasted, not for its medicinal effects. There are so many different ingredients, many of them strongly aromatic. In this blend, however, they come across more as complex, and less muddled, which I think shows some artfulness on behalf of the blenders at Yogi.

Many tones emerge and vanish in the aroma. I notice a strong, almost candy-like fruitiness, peppermint, cinnamon, and cardamom as the dominant tones. The tea has some earthy tones as well, but the overall character is light, fruity, and fresh.

I'm not sure I like the idea of drinking teas containing stronger extracts though, as this one does, on a daily basis. But I will say, if you want to drink Echinacea tea for medicinal reasons, this would not be a bad blend to try, if you're concerned about taste. I found it rather pleasing and interesting to drink.
