I greatly enjoyed this tea. Brewed as instructed, this tea produces a rich, strongly aromatic cup.

Interesting and quite different from other Chinese green teas I have tried. At first I thought it a bit odd: while this is a very intensely aromatic and flavorful tea, the flavor and aroma are both oddly muted; it's almost as if it starts to be tangy but immediately stops before the flavor develops.

Slightly grassy, and fruity, very deep overall. Darker character, rather suggestive of yellow tea. Rather metallic finish, but in a very clean way.

This is a tea that did not impress on the first sip, but developed a lot upon drinking the whole cup.

I made a second, longer infusion with slightly higher-temperature water. It was similar in character, slightly weaker, more vegetal, and also had some dusty tones absent in the first cup, reminiscent of aged Pu-erh.

I found that this tea has been growing on me considerably as I drink it. Hard to describe but very pleasing. Not cheap, but not prohibitive either, and I think worth the price.
