I think this blend strikes a good balance between spearmint and peppermint, with both noticeable and neither overpowering the other. I can actually detect the tarragon as well; it's not as evident in the aroma, but it is a bit in the aftertaste; it's subtle but makes this tea somewhat more pleasing.
Moderately strong but not overpowering. I like brewing for 2 minutes and then making a second infusion and letting it steep indefinitely. The finely-broken leaf infuses rather quickly.
The second infusion has a very different character; it is much, much smoother, creamy almost, with a sweet, candy-like aroma.
