I also found, like Synth, that this tea has a cooling quality. The aroma is malty up front, but it has a strong wintergreen quality to the aroma. Aroma is complex and hard to describe.
Very enjoyable and also rather interesting and different. I'm not sure I'd describe this as one of my favorite black teas, however. Perhaps it would grow on me if I tried it multiple times though...I was unfortunately only able to sample it once.
Still, I failed to get excited enough about this tea to justify its price.
