Very fresh, crisp peppermint aroma. Clean but without being flat. Little of the complex herbaceous aroma that I like though, in peppermint. Strong but without being candy-like.
I tried this mainly to try it, peppermint grows out of control in this climate and I'm never short of it...so I wouldn't buy this (or any commercially-grown peppermint) on my own, but, among what's available out there, I thought this was decent.
Still, I must wonder, why are they importing peppermint from Egypt, to a country where it grows like a weed? It doesn't seem the most eco-friendly thing to do, given that peppermint is a water-loving crop, and in Egypt, water is scarce.
