A friend brought me this from Europe.
Flavor is a bit dull: not much bite or kick, but a heavy, bitter aftertaste. Malty for a Ceylon. If I had to guess, I would probably have guessed that this was an Assam rather than a Ceylon. However, it wasn't particularly exciting as either.
I was also surprised to find that this was on the pricier side as tea bags go, when I looked up the price. Perhaps the German market is different, but I actually prefer most of the mainstream tea bag brands on the market in the US to this one. There's a chance though that the particular tea bag I tried was just not very fresh, however.
