Among the best examples of an Earl Grey that I've sampled yet.
This Earl Grey has a bold base tea with its own unique character evident. The base tea tastes like a mixture of Assam and Keemun-style teas: rich, dark, robust, and with a warming quality. It tastes like the base tea would make a strong and high-quality English Breakfast blend on its own.
The amount of bergamot is just right for me: it's neither strong nor weak. The bergamot has a slightly perfumey quality.
I think this tea is a bit expensive in Sachets; I wish it were available loose--I find it a bit strange that it's not listed loose on Harney's site.
