What a delicious tea! The aroma is very bright and green, vegetal and fresh like a nose full of spring-time.
It has all the aspects of Long Jing but better, the taste is intense but also mellow. Green, vegetal, tart (not bitter or sour, but tart like fruit) and subtly sweet with floral notes. There is also the aftertaste of fresh seaweed but without the fishiness of the ocean, very refreshing. I love the way the taste lingers in the mouth long after it has been swallowed.
A truly delicious tea that I can see myself splurging on for a special treat.
