This was not what I expected; a very smooth English breakfast tea. Very full-bodied and mild, more sweet than bitter. Creamy, and a bit bland flavor-wise.
Aroma is unusual...the dominant quality is vanilla and caramel, but in those subtle ways that pure teas exhibit these sorts of qualities. Slightly flat tasting.
I found this tea pleasing to sip in small sips, but unsatisfying when I drank more at once. Overall it struck me as weak.
$3.00 a box if you buy in bulk seems pricey for a tea of this quality. I think this tea is more expensive if you buy it retail; I've never seen it for sale in retail though.
