If you are looking for a truly great Long Jing (Dragon Well) tea, then this is the one to buy. I have tried dozens over the past decade, and none could stand up to this. Sweet and fresh, light and flavorful. You can really taste the springtime in this tea, which leaves a wonderful feel in your mouth long after the liquid is gone.
I have spent a good time with this tea this morning, admiring the dry leaves and great aroma. The ease with which it unfurls and dances in my cup, and the heady aroma steaming out of the golden brew. Restoring, refreshing and a wonderful experience.
Many thanks to Alex Z. for sending me this sample and introducing me to TeaVivre!

I also found this tea to stand out among all the Dragon Wells that I've tried, although I don't think I've sampled as many as you have. Interestingly, two of my other favorites were also sold by TeaVivre; I've tried three from them and they were all outstanding. I think one of my favorite aspects of TeaVivre is that their tea is incredibly fresh.
Long Jing is one type of tea where I've noticed a tremendous range of quality on the market, where the high-quality ones truly stand out from the ones I would consider mid-quality. Another company that sold a top-notch dragon well, which is currently closed through later in October, is Life in Teacup--it's a part-time, one-person operation, but I've also had a Long Jing from them that really stood out.
