GoodGoodGood Value

I found this wonderful Rooibos at the Joe's I visit. I got one can. Returned a week later and got another for myself and one for a friend. Another two weeks-ALL GONE! I haven't been able to get again-they are not sure it they will be getting more in. This was a big hit they said. Basically it is a blend of rooibos, natural pumpkin flavor, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. I will say that I personally taste cinnamon and nutmeg the most. Also taste them the most. I drink this without sugar, or a scant if I am enjoying after dinner, for dessert. Value of this is wonderful, 20 sachets for $3.99. You also get a cool tin-which I will proudly say I am going to use to put Teavana Tea in. I am also going to tell them that, when they try to tell me a darn tin-for the 20th time-and that is on just one visit!

I'm genuinely surprised with the low price on this one. I would be curious to try some of this new line of teas. Do you know if it's just this one, or has Trader Joe's added other teas in tins like this? I haven't been to one in several weeks and I haven't seen any of their teas in tins yet.

I have been seeing a lot of companies launching lines of pyramid sachets, and many of them cost as much as $8-9 for a box of 15, and don't even come with a tin. Harney and Sons is the one brand I know of that sells sachets in a tin for a more affordable price, but they're still $6. Trader Joe's comes in again with the bargain buy on a high-end item!

It makes sense that they would sell out! I wonder if this is just a temporary, one-time item.

They have these seasonal teas they come out with, with the flavors set to the season. I have found that they usually sell out quick because one they are good, as most of their stuff is, and two they are a great value. I have found that they have one or two seasonal blends and just recently they had a chai latte powder mix. I was very hesitant to try this. Honestly, it was fantastic, it sold out super fast too. I am on the look out for the winter stuff coming in-they told me it should be in this week, before Thanksgiving. They have a lot of mint stuff for the holidays and I am pretty sure they have a mint tea coming that I need to get my hands on!
