As a fan of both lemon and ginger, I got plenty of those flavors in this tea and enjoyed both. Though I think "medicinal" teas generally oversell their usefulness for addressing specific ailments, I could certainly see how the citrus and spice in this would make you *feel* better if you had the sniffles. Also, when my boyfriend smelled and tasted this tea, he commented that it reminded him of Theraflu. It definitely has a similarly sharp (but pleasant and naturally sweet) taste. There's no tea of any kind in this product, which gives it a fresh, strong, pure, balanced flavor that needs no additional sweetener.
