Review of Organic Sencha Whole Leaf Teabag
January 29th, 2014
Aroma | Flavor | Value | Total |
8 of 10 | 4 of 5 | 3 of 5 | 77 of 100 |
Excellent | Good | Reasonable |
The aroma is exactly what you expect a good Sencha to smell like: fresh grass, springtime, and a touch of citrus. The aroma of the brewed tea is like a spring field with sweet notes of cane sugar and hay.
The taste is initially sweet and grassy, evoking spring. There is also a hint of citrus in the aftertaste. Quite a smooth sencha.
