Thank you to my friend Liz for sharing this one with me. Take my review in the context that I tend not to like fruit-flavored tea bags, so although my rating number is not great, this is actually a pretty positive review: I'm comparing it against all my favorite loose-leaf artisan teas.
Tea bag smells intensely fruity, almost cloying, but also resembling jam. Thankfully, upon brewing, the black tea base also makes a strong appearance in the aroma.
I think the fruity aromas blend very well with the classic black tea aroma. However, there's a candy-like, sort of caramel-and-sweet-fruit aroma that I don't like.
Slightly more astringent than I like for a black tea...leaves a dry sensation on the palate, but this is a mild critique.
Overall I found this pleasant to drink. I think this is one of the better fruit-flavored teas I've tried in this price range.
