The aroma is a blend of roasted nuts, cocoa, and beets, it is quite savory rather than sweet. Brewing the tea brings out a fruity quality and sweetness along with the roasted nuts and cocoa quality.
The taste is quite bold and rich, it starts out with roasted nuts and dark chocolate, it has a dry mouth feel and a slight bitterness that fades to sweetness at the end.
