If it weren't for the honey I used to sweeten this tea, it would taste like hot leaves. Literally all you are buying is mildly-honey-flavored leaves.

Hello and welcome to RateTea, and thank you for your first review!

Have you tried any other honeybush or is this your first one? I've tried a few (although not this one) and I don't necessarily think it is the best-named herb...it tastes more earthy to me than it does honey-like...any sweetness or honey notes in it are subtle.

I have tried some teas though that tasted like they had had honey added...especially some green oolong teas from Taiwan, like pouchong (bao zhong).

Let me know if you have any questions about the site or about tea or if there are any other ways I can help you out! It's good to have you here!
