very good smell but taste is quite bitter and earthy...steeped 7 minutes...probably should have gone a bit lighter...too much bitter earth power on this one...not my style....let it cool to room temp and tried again....holy BITTER batman!!! way bad....

I think it makes sense that this tea might be too intense...some people really like the un-aged Raw Pu-erh, but a lot of people don't...which is why it's often aged, and over time, the flavor mellows.
You can always try steeping them less time and/or using less leaf, however. I love TeaVivre but I often find some of their brewing recommendations to be strange, sometimes much stronger or much weaker than suits my tastes.
