Licorice. Licorice, licorice, licorice. This is the strongest of the licorice teas I've tried to date, which I appreciate because I prefer tea that has an assertive--although not necessarily strong--flavor. But I would agree with Alex with respect to the sweetness--this is not a tea that should be consumed with a sweetener. And if you prefer a tea that has more bitterness, another choice might be better-suited.
