I really liked this one, and it's not the sort of blend I would normally expect myself to like. The aroma of the dried teabag was slightly cloying, a little bit like potpourri, but only a little bit.
Brews up a rich red color. Relatively medium-bodied, flavorful but not overly strong. The pumpkin is evident in the aroma, but only if I really look for it. At the same time, this blend tasted very different from a typical spiced rooibos or "rooibos chai" blend, like the blend of spices is more reflective of what you would typically put in pumpkin pie, rather than blend for a traditional masala chai.
Well-executed and enjoyable. I probably wouldn't buy this on my own, but I thought it was high-quality and I would gladly drink it again. I brewed 3 minutes with boiling water and that yielded good results.
If anything, I think I could ever deal with a stronger pumpkin flavor. I really liked the hint of pumpkin I sensed in this one, and it was really just a hint, not anywhere near too much for me.
