Wow, not what I was expecting from a black tea in a really good way! This sample came from the Philadelphia Coffee & Tea Expo.
Brews more like an oolong, which is right up my alley. Has the strong vegetable taste of cooked greens. No bitterness at the end. Slight natural sweetness. Floral tones in the dried leaf. Overall experience gets an A+.
I brewed my first cup for 3 minutes, and the second cup a little longer. Second cup was lighter and less flavorful than the first, still tasty.
If someone was looking for a black tea, this wouldn't be my first recommendation, unless they were looking for something unusual. I'd more likely recommend it to oolong lovers like myself! Not your typical black tea. Most definitely exquisite.
