A very typical silver needle, enjoyable, good quality, and true to the style, but this is a style of tea I'm not a huge fan of, especially given its high price.
Brewed 3 minutes as recommended, this was too weak for me. I preferred a single, long infusion of about 12-15 minutes.
Very low in astringency, leading it to seem thin-bodied for me unless brewed very strongly. Moderately aromatic, floral and with notes of melon. Flavor is lightly sweet with a light bitterness.
Really expensive, over $20 for 2 ounces, especially given that I need to use a lot of leaf to get it strong enough for my tastes.
Thank you to Dewey for providing me with some of this one to try! It was interesting to try, even though it's not something I would normally buy.
