I've never had pu-erh before this, so I can't compare between brands. This tea brews a nice dark brown. The flavor is earthy and mellow. It's also pretty mild, a little sugar seemed to cover up most of the flavor. I liked it, but I didn't think it was outstanding.
I was given this tea, so I can't really rate its value; I just gave it the middle rating.
