This tea is strong but smooth -- a nice choice for a breakfast cup. The caffeine gives a boost without a buzz. I tried this tea plain first. The flavor is robust and pleasant, with an accent similar to malt. The leaves have been cut very small and fairly round, enabling a quick infusion.

I also tried it with honey and milk. It's not bad, but it's possible for these to dominate the flavor more than I would prefer, so I recommend not overdoing them. I prefer this tea straight.

Finally, I tried this tea with just a little stevia. This worked great, as it provided light sweetness in a way that blended well with the tea. This is my favorite way to drink it. The more I sip, the more I enjoy. :-)

The tea handles multiple steepings very well, which makes me very happy.

Isn't it amazing how well this tea resteeps? I have never experienced anything quite like that with a CTC tea before.
