This is the worst peppermint tea I've had, and that's soon after trying my next-lowest rated peppermint, from another store brand. Guess I'm on a roll...around the bowl and down the hole! That's where the rest of this cup is going.

Out of the wrapper, the dry bag had only about 1/4 of its volume, maybe less, occupied by very finely chopped leaves...and stems, lots of stems, maybe 20% of the already-meager volume of plant material. I could detect almost no aroma at all. Sometimes peppermint can redeem itself by unlocking the essential oil as it is steeped, even if the dry-bag aroma is weak, but this offering absolutely did not. It tasted flat, feeble and a little stale, with hardly any of the native cooling effect of peppermint, as it if had lost most of the oil long ago and far away. Had it been sitting around in a warehouse forgotten for a few years before going to the store? One can do much better with a bagged peppermint tea than this, namely with almost any other brand.
