Uncommonly in my admittedly limited tea-drinking experience, this was the second different bagged chamomile blend (as opposed to pure chamomile) from the same company—the first being "Relaxing Chamomile". This tea is decidedly chamomile-dominant in dry-bag, in-cup and wet-bag aromas, and despite not having the word in its name, more chamomile-presenting in the flavor than "Relaxing Chamomile".
This tea reminded me a lot of Revolution's "Golden Chamomile" sachets, but with a little more complexity. It was floral, as one would expect, but also rather malty...perhaps this effect came from the second ingredient: oat straw. Like the Revolution blend, it had a champagne-like color (early on) and flavor quality as well. It also contains elder flower, yarrow and lavender, which certainly explain the floral side of the taste. The aftertaste was mild, clean, and faded rather quickly, with only a low-order tinge of bitterness. Overall, it was a satisfying and friendly beverage to pour down my throat before bedtime.
Now it's going to be a little unfair to rate this tea based on effectiveness, since after chugging it, I will have been up all night working a night shift, then much of the day. It will be hard to blame "Peaceful Slumber" if I sleep like garbage, or credit it if I enter a state bordering on comatose. So I'll stop here and simply let the review stand on flavor and taste aspects.
