Both the dry tea and steeped liquor have a perfumy peach aroma that smells to me like peach Jolly Rancher candy (a discontinued flavor, sadly). There's just enough passion fruit to be detectable, but I bought this particular flavor for the passion fruit and am a bit disappointed that it isn't stronger.
The fruit flavor is rich and tastes like fresh peaches. The passionfruit is more subtle, but seems to last longer since I can taste it in the finish for some time after swallowing. Unfortunately, the flavor is missing the acid tang of fresh fruit. Unusually for most flavored teas that I'm used to, it also tastes like tea. I'm guessing that it's mostly Ceylon with a bit of Assam. The tea's a lot more mellow than Ahmad's Earl Grey blends, but there's still a bit more bitterness on the tongue than Ahmad's straight Ceylon.
The flavoring is balanced well enough and of a quality that I'll probably try some of the other flavored teas, but I don't think I'll be buying this one again. Ahmad's website sells a box of 20 tea bags for $4.50 and a local Middle Eastern shop has them for $3.49.
