Very GoodGoodGood Value

Half-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of black tea leaves and pieces of orange peel, orange blossom and cloves. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Clear aroma of black tea, cloves and orange peel, with hints of vanilla. Bitter flavour of black tea, with spicy notes of cloves and sweet and citric touches of orange. A mildly astringent palate with black tea aftertaste and touches of spice. A well-balanced and enjoyable beverage, perfect as an accompaniment to a slice of dark bread or cake. There is a wintry touch to it, but it tastes just as good in mid-summer. Fair price (38 DKK per 100 g).
