Cup at home, made from a sachet included in the tea company's Advent Tea Calendar (2020) and containing a mixture of leaves of black tea and pieces of cinnamon and ginger as well as cloves, ginseng and cranberries - all of them organic and enriched with natural flavourings. Pours nearly clear copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Clear aroma of berries and black tea (Ceylon?) leaves, with touches of cloves and ginger. Bitterish flavour of black tea, with dry notes of cranberries and touches of ginseng and cloves. Somewhat astringent palate, with a leafy and spicy aftertaste and touches of ginseng. A nice, non-aggressive and rather well-balanced blend. Not an unreasonable price to pay for it, either, given the context (ca. 5 DKK per 1 sachet in the collection). Thank you, Anni, for this gem!
