Very GoodMediocreReasonable

Cup at home, made from a teabag containing fine leaves of black tea (Assam?) sprinkled with natural rhubarb oil and elderflower flavouring. Pours clear orangeish amber with no sediment. Clear aroma of boiled rhubarb and malty leaves of black tea (probably Assam then), with mild touches of elderflower. Mild, leafy flavour of black tea, with slightly acidic touches of rhubarb. Astringent palate with an aftertaste of leaves and very mild acidic hints. Well, like the other Fredsted teas I have had, this one, too, i rather tame. The aroma is markedly stronger than the flavour, at least with respect to the fruity nuances. But then perhaps one should not expect miracles given the price (16 DKK per 20 teabags). Drinkable but not very exciting.
