Cup at home, made from a sachet containing a mixture of black tea leaves, pieces of cinnamon, ginger, as well as cardamom - all organic and sprinkled with natural flavourings. Pours nearly clear light copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Clear aroma of cinnamon, ginger and biscuit, with touches of apples. Bitter, leafy flavour with malty touches and notes of gingerbread spices. Astringent palate with an aftertaste of black tea leaves and touches of cinnamon, ginger and malt. A very nice, well-balanced dessert cup of winter tea. Thank you, Sigrid, for this gem! (The satchel is part of the 2021 Premium Advent Calendar; the price per sachet is rather high then by local standards: 4 DKK per 2.5 g).
