The "Ne plus ultra" of Lapsang Souchongs. The high bar for all others. It is superb. Yes, it is smokey - that's what a LS is, but this has a sweet note to the aroma and that carries through into the tea, which is rich and smooth and mellow. It also keeps well. I have some I have had for 4 years and it is still wonderful. I buy some new every year, but I compare them and the 4 yr. old is holding its own. If you are going to do LS, do this one, otherwise, buy all the LS samples from Upton's and try them.
