the liquor is smooth. not bitter.
has some sweetness to the aroma. roasty, indeed. it is earthy, and i guess it's reminiscent of fall leaves. i didn't really detect mushroom. it really reminds me of roasted peanuts.
2nd infusion: 8oz, 195F, ~5 mins
similar to last time. smooth, kind of malty
3rd infusion: 8oz, 195F, 8+ mins
milder. not as roasty. sweetness really dominates this time.
this is a nice tea.
