Mr Bamsen (217 reviews) on Dec. 11th, 2021
One-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of black tea leaves, pieces of dried apple, almond flakes, as well as a variety of spices, including cloves, cinnamon, and allspice, all sprinkled with orange flavouring. Pours clear copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Intense aroma of almonds, apples, and cinnamon, with touches of black tea. Bitter flavour of (Ceylon?) leaves, with spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon, and sweetish touches of almonds. Moderately astringent palate with an aftertaste of leaves and spices and mild fruity hints. A very nice winter tea, good on its own or as a supplement of an advent dessert. Fair price (44 DKK per 100 g).
