One-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of fine green tea leaves, almond flakes, caramelised hazelnut bits, candied pineapple, pieces of walnut, and coconut, all generously sprinkled with aroma. Pours hazy straw (against white china) with no sediment. Clear aroma of a whole variety of nuts, the walnut and the hazelnut being the dominant ones, with mild touches of green tea. Complex flavour of walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds, with notes of Sencha (which become more and more pronounced over time) and mild touches of pineapple and coconut. Nutty palate, with mildly astringent notes. Well, I am usually cautious with nut-flavoured tea, but this one is simply delicious. It must be the pineapple that brings out the bitterish and slightly rough nutty notes. I like it a lot. Fair price (42 DKK per 100 g).
