60 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Mr Bamsen (217 reviews) on Nov. 22nd, 2020
Cup at home, made from a sample received free of charge at the outlet; it consisted of a mixture of fine black Chinese tea leaves (Keemun?), rose petals, and jasmine blossom, all sprinkled with bergamot oil. Pours slightly hazy copper brown (against white china) with some dark brown sediment resting on the bottom. Clear aroma of jasmine blossom, bergamot oil and leaves of black tea, with touches of rose. Bitter flavour of black tea, with notes of bergamot oil and mild touches of jasmine. Mild, malty palate with leafy touches. Well, it certainly does resemble an Earl Grey, bar the floral nuances in the aroma. Not bad, but I think I prefer other flavoured black teas. Fair price (38 DKK per 100 g).
