Half-litre pot at home, made from a blend consisting of leaves of mostly yellow and some green tea, Japanese cherry blossom, sunflower petals, jasmine and pieces of dried peach - a very aromatic mixture. Pours clear straw with no sediment. Clear aroma of peach, with notes of tea leaves and mild touches of jasmine. Bitter flavour of green (and probably yellow) tea with sweetish notes of peach and some herbal touches. Bitter, astringent palate with mild peachy notes. This is my first yellow tea (or to be more precise, my first blend containing yellow tea) and I find it enjoyable but quite remarkable with regard to the difference between the aroma and the flavour. A nice drink but the palate is quite astringent - more than I had expected it to be. A tad more expensive than regular teas from the same tea company (55 DKK per 100 g) but nice. I brewed it from the sample I was given in my local outlet, and I would certainly consider buying a regular portion.
