Cup at home, made from a sachet containing leaves of green tea and pieces of ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves - all organic and sprinkled with natural flavourings. Pours slightly hazy amber (against white china) with negligible sediment. Intense aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, with touches of green tea leaves. Bitter flavour of nutmeg, cloves and ginger, with leafy notes and mild touches of cinnamon. Spicy aftertaste dominated by pepper and cloves, with touches of green tea, leaving a moderately astringent palate. Interesting. The blend has almost exactly the same ingredients as the Happy Holiday from the same tea company, but in slightly different proportions, and this makes it taste rather different. Decent. I would appreciate more of the sweetish nuances, though. Thank you, Sigrid, for this gem!
