Supreme Breakfast
|
Commercial Description
Fantastic teas from India and China are combined to create this Breakfast Blend. A wonderful tippy Assam gives it full body that is then smoothed by the rich distinctive flavor of Hao Ya 'B' Keemun.

I think it's a great idea that Harney has chosen to create a high-end breakfast blend, combining two high-quality teas that are usually not used in blends.
Although I'm less familiar with Keemun Hao Ya B, only having sampled one example of it, I can see how it would be a natural pairing with Assam as the two teas both have a certain strength to them, while being complementary (Assam tending to have more edge or sharpness to it).
This blend is very rich and malty, but also very smooth, much smoother than a typical Assam. Yet it is more powerful than any example of a pure Keemun that I've tried.
Well-executed! I highly recommend this one.
