The dry teabags have some tea aroma, which is a step up from many decaffeinated black teas. It's earthy, but not strong and reminds me of stale cocoa.
The brewing tea smells almost roasted and smoky and again reminds me of weak cocoa. There's also a hint of cooking noodles. The aroma is OK, but it still isn't quite what I expect tea to smell like.
Little bitterness and no astringency, but weak flavor that doesn't really taste like tea. It tastes a bit earthy with dry vegetal notes, like straw or dry corn stalks. If I was tasting this blind, I might guess that it was chamomile. It's not any worse than most other decaf black, though, and it's quite a bit cheaper.

normal very mild black tea smell, taste is very smooth black tea, not very flavorful...(steeping longer now)...teabag seems tapped as the longer steeping doesn't seem to do anything...too mild and bland...nothing fun here...not worth paying for..update: when the tea cools it just tastes like a wet teabag... :(

I swear this tastes like it has a significant amount of pu-erh in it...it has that earthy, dust-like quality to it. I never used to like lipton's decaf until I started liking pu-erh and then my appreciation of it increased slightly--but only very slightly. It really could be a lot more bland than it is. But it's still bland.
My main complaint is that relative to the strength of the aroma, there is way too much bitterness and astringency. If you want to get much aroma you need to brew it so strongly that it is unpleasantly bitter.
