This is the last of a set of food-service Liptons I got from a cafeteria, an individually wrapped bag that I finally have gotten around to trying and rating a couple months later.
The dry bag had little aroma, which is nothing new for most mass-produced or food-service green teas I've tried. The wet bag has a bit of the familiar vegetal or algal aroma of green tea, a sensation that expresses somewhat more in the flavor. It's more astringent than most, but takes well to sweetening, which does seem to dampen the astringency a bit. Otherwise the flavor is rather plain and devoid of much body or character. It's far from the worst green tea I've tried, but also, far from the best, which makes it about average!

I have typically found there to be something unpleasant in the taste of this tea--whether it's astringency or the hint of something chemical introduced during the packaging process I don't know, but I don't care for it. Reducing the steeping time to a minute or less seems to help a bit, but then I'm left with a tea that just isn't as strong as I tend to prefer.
Either way this isn't undrinkable, but nor is it something I would buy on my own.

Eh. Meh.
It's better than their black tea - but that's not saying much. I get this for free at the office - and I would pick this over Lipton Black (The tea that jolts like cawfee) any day.
Inexpensive and drinkable - but there are plenty of better green teas out there - and some are only a tad more money.

It's ok. For a cheap tea, it has a lot of flavor but I noticed a chemical taste in mine that really turned me off. I know for a lot of people, this seems like a value but if you buy loose leaf blends, you can get a better quality tea for much cheaper, but I digress. It's not great but it could be a lot worse in terms of flavor, bitterness and value.

This one starts with a familiar vegetal/grassy note, with a touch of mustiness. More of the same on the palate, a firm vegetal character, slightly dull. Decent body; midweight. Very mild but notable astringency, oversteeping brings this out more. As for value, this is my go-to green tea; at around $4 for a box of 40, it's not the least expensive, but is really a great value.

This is a cheap green tea in a bag, but for that exact thing you can't beat liptons. The flavour is great. 100 bag box can be had for about $5. Great deal and beats most bagged green tea.

This is just a simple green tea, but at least it's 100% tea. There really isn't too much in the way of aroma, some earthy tea notes coming through in the nose. Adding a touch of honey takes some of the bitter qualities of the tea away. For green tea, this is a staple.
